  1. Dinner for Schmucks accomplishes something most comedies can't do often. It is consistently funny from start to finish, and it's able to do it with out ruining all of the best parts in the commercials. The plot isn't very substantial and I haven't seen the French film, from which it is based, but the movie was funny enough for me to enjoy it thoroughly with out being bothered by the numerous clichés in it. What makes the film as good as it is, is due in large part to the actors. Paul Rudd does a good job as the central character, practically playing the same person as he did in I Love You Man, but he gets the job done.
