Advance FREE movie screenings of "My Sister's Keeper" (GA, NC and TN)

Shakefire.com is offering advance FREE movie screenings of "My Sister's Keeper" in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN! Conceived as a marrow donor for her gravely ill sister, Anna Fitzgerald (Abigail Breslin) has undergone countless surgeries and medical procedures in her short life and has decided to hire a lawyer (Alec Baldwin) and sue her parents (Cameron Diaz and Jason Patric) for the rights to her own body. Based on the novel by Jodi Picult, this film initially was surrounded by buzz when Dakota Fanning and younger sister Elle were cast as the two sisters. They're much younger than the characters in the book but were considered more age appropriate daughters for Diaz (which doesn't make much sense seeing as Diaz is well in her late 30s). Dakota reportedly pulled out of the project after learning that it would require her to shave her head completely. This film looks like a well-composed tear-jerker, and while Breslin shines with cuteness and maturity, it's a bit hard to buy Diaz as a care-giving mother. In the end, this movie could prove to be as annoying as it is emotionally heavy.
